About PSM


PSM Ltd was established in 1994 in response to a growing need for training and development that was practical in application and resulted in real change in behaviour. 

We provide training courses, development programmes and consultancy services on an extensive range of subjects which include:

Leadership, Communication, Strong Business Relationships, Managing People & Performance, Negotiation Skills, Stress Elimination, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving, Coaching, Time & Self Management, Assertiveness and Retirement.

Assertiveness & Communication Skills (2 Days) This programme explores what true assertiveness means and provides practical directions for its development.

Managing People & Performance This programme is based on the proposition that people are naturally motivated and wish to excel. In our supervisory role, we either limit or encourage individuals in the pursuit of this excellence.

Participants will develop a greater understanding of their role and will have new skills to effectively manage people and to raise the level of their performance

Negotiating Skills
(2 Days)
Participants will be provided with a blue print for effective negotiating which will achieve business success and cultivate long-term relationships built on trust. June 22nd & 23rd 2009

Time & Priority Managment This one day programme examines what prevents us doing the right thing at the right time and how energy levels affect our efficient use of time. Participants will learn simple techniques to raise and maintain energy levels leading to greater focus and ability to prioritise. Participants will also examine the different levels of attention and how to improve memory and make the best use of our time. December 1st 2008
Presentation Skills
(2 Days)
This programme will equip participants with the ability to present themselves with authority and confidence by examining voice projection, connecting with the audience, the power of persuasion, confidence and composure and some important dos and don’ts. December 2nd & 3rd 2008

Stress Elimination Part One
(2 Days)
Highlights the myths about stress and shows that complete freedom from stress is a practical proposition. Participants will be provided with techniques which are natural, simple and easily applied. December 10th & 11th 2008

Stress Elimination Part Two
(2 Days)
Examines in more depth the internal causes of stress and provides further directions and practices to assist with its elimination. December 1st & 2nd 2008
Stress Elimination Refresher
The aim of the refresher day is to provide participants with an opportunity to re-connect with the principles, re-invigorate the practices and restore commitment to maintaining the discipline given on the original course.

In addition, further areas where stress is the common experience will be addressed, e.g. conflict, decision making, speech and fear.

Influencing Skills This programme examines the influence we have on people and events and highlights the factors and behaviours which determine our success in this area.

During the two days, participants will learn how to create strong relationships built on trust, how to dissolve opposition and resistance to change and how to communicate in a manner that inspires and motivates.

Meeting Facilitation Skills This programme explores the principles governing facilitation and provides participants with an understanding of the role of the facilitator and the facilitation process itself.
